So, this morning with ever a plethora of things on my mind I began the laundry and then moved on to the bedroom. Forgetting that I had turned on and plugged the bathroom sink making ready for cleaning the bathroom. haha! I am sure a few of you are ahead of me already! I am in my room cleaning, writing an email, and searching something up all at the same time...multi-tasking at its best, when suddenly I hear my boys downstairs erupt with cries of a leak. I come flying out of my room towards the stairs when my spidey senses begin to tingle...hahaha! Something is amiss in the bathroom. Looking towards the bathroom I hear water, not from the washer. And then in Hollywood type fashion I am transported back to the beginning of my cleaning madness to the turning on of the water. Running into the bathroom I am immediately toe deep in water, hey it is only a bathroom sink, and I began to laugh. Thanking God that I waited till last to do the towels, I pull them all out of the hamper and cover the floor with them. Looking at my now multi-colored makeshift quilt I smile. Most people would be stressed, flabbergasted, upset with themselves. Not me. First of all, I love me! These are the wonderful little things about me that make God smile, and others too hopefully. Second of all, he is not here. He is not here to freak out and belittle me for being so stupid. He is not here to say my name as if it is the vilest cuss word. Just me. Just my boys. I go downstairs to see quite the leak coming from the light fixture in the ceiling and a giant pot on the ground. My favorite part was my youngest sons face when I burst out laughing. His eyes twinkled and his mouth turned into the sweetest half-circle expression, showing his teeth. He laughed. It's amazing the things you DON'T miss from a bad relationship! I pray you are able to laugh at yourself and find humor in the way you were created. I also pray you begin to love yourself! If you do...teach others to love themselves as well. Have a great day!

This made me laugh! Thank you for sharing. You're right, we forget to see mistakes as human silliness. We forget to relish in our childrens smiles. "Safe" can make you feel so amazing!
