I finished reading The Canary List by Sigmund Brouwer. I found that it was a pretty easy read and got through it quickly. This book has a conspiracy theory theme and was intriguing. I found myself pulled into it from the beginning. I was more than a little disappointed that the battle waging between good and evil fell heavily upon the evil side. I felt the book was finished to quickly and not given time to cultivate a proper ending. Characters were introduced in such away that the reader was drawn to care for them and then either dismissed or their life ended without a satisfying conclusion. The Canary List is a good book but I felt the author did not take the necessary time needed to make this, the exceptional read it could have been!
